Introduction

 

Thank you for your interest in our affiliate program. Before I launch into how the affiliate program works, let me explain one thing. We follow a proven method of marketing to our customers. And we want you to be as successful as we have been. So we're going to give our proven method of success to you.


The great thing about our Ezine (called "Focus") is that it's an automatic  "Recurring Billing" product. That means you get paid monthly for 12 months. All you need to do is have your customers sign up for a yearly subscription.  Your work is done for you for a whole year automatically by the merchant. For a whole year you can be doing nothing and make money.

How much you make

For every one of your customers who signs up for the 12 month subscription it costs them $180. But it won't feel like $180 to them because they're not paying up front. They are paying monthly. They are billed at $15 per month automatically for each issue, by the merchant.

When Are they billed?

They are billed on the date they buy. Some people will purchase on the 3rd of each month. Therefore these people will be billed on the 3rd of each month. Some may purchase on the 17th, and these people are billed on the 17th of each month. Whatever the date, that becomes their billing date.

The Affiliate Commission

You get 50% of the profits (after the merchant has taken their fee) which is about $6 per issue, per person, per month over 12 months. This too is automatically added to your account by the merchant.

The Merchant

The merchant we use is Clickbank. We've been using them for 5 years and are extremely happy with them. Clickbank can pay you by cheque (which is a major pain if you are outside the US because it takes 6 weeks to clear), or you can ask them if you can have the funds put into your account. Check with them first. we are not responsible for your payments, they are.

Let's see this example of how this can work well for you....

Here is a made up example.* Let's just say you have a list of 1000 people. You send out the emails  on your autoresponder and 100 people purchase a subscription to the ezine. (We give to you these to market the Ezine). That's $600 for the month. Now multiple that by 12. (Plus absolutely zero hours of work.)

In other words, for doing absolutely nothing but sending out some emails to your list you've made an extra $7200 for the year. (All in US dollars.)

100 x $6 x 12 + doing nothing = $7200

Brilliant!

Where in the world can you send out emails and make an extra $7200 for the year whilst doing nothing to maintain it? No website fees, no adwords, no monitoring your statistics on your site, no drumming up business, no trying to master elusive SEO....that's all gone. For this to work the best for your business, you'll need to have a rather large list of people interested in photography, who are willing to purchase, and then market to them in the form of emails over a few days.

 

You'll be sending out a series of emails to your list for this to work.

 

In this series of emails is some complimentary videos for people that we've done, plus some anticipation build up about the Ezine. Here's the progression:

 

  • Day 1 - send out 1st email- 1st video and a bit about ezine

  • Day 2 - send out 2nd email- 2nd video & ezine

  • Day 3 - send out 3rd email- 3rd video & ezine and bonuses

  • Day 4 - send out 4th email- 4th video & more about ezine and bonuses with subscription

  • Day 5 - send out 5th email- ezine plus bonus ebook with subscription

How the Videos and Bonus Ebooks Fit In

In each of these emails is a link to videos. In a couple of these emails, you will also be describing to them that you've managed to get the Landscape Photography ebook with every subscription. You've worked hard to get this out of me...

The email will also say that you're trying to get me to give them something else and to stay tuned for more tomorrow...

At the end of the email series they'll be able to get the subscription, and two free bonuses, plus last months issue for free. That's over $X of value.

And when they buy the subscription, they pay with a credit card and read the rebilling terms. Then they download the ezine, plus the two bonus ebooks, plus last months issue of the Ezine.

So, in a nutshell, this is what your customers get:

How They Get The Bonus Material

When they buy a subscription, they get this material with their subscription.

This is what you do to get started:

We'd like to know more about you. We'd like: Your name, website, your Clickbank nickname.

Why? Because we'd like to see your website so we can offer some SEO advice and give you some monthly promotional articles to get people to YOUR list, so you can make all this happen.

We would also like to offer you ongoing support. We're good people and easy to deal with, and will help as much as we possibly can. It's a great opportunity for both of us.

  1. We'll send you the emails to copy into your autoresponder sequence to go out every 24 hours. Do this for your current list of people - make sure anyone new who is added to your list now gets this sequence too.

  2. Also have all links that your customers need on file. (E.g. The ezine home page, video pages, our website, our email in case they have problems.)

  3. Wait for the sales to show.

  4. When people buy a subscription they get all the bonuses.

  5. Monthly income gets sent to you via Clickbank.

Step 3: Once you've got your “nickname” please email us and tell us what it is. The reason we like to know who you are is so we can contact you with new products when we do them and promotional items so you can make more money. Also your first name and where you are going to market the ezine.

Step 4:  Now include the "hoplink" in your emails and on your website and you are ready to increase your income stream.
